Hi! My name is May Keizer and as of today I´m a new blogger for Elitair Magazine! I´m a freelance fashion stylist and personal shopper. I also work as a colomnist for the new online lifestyle Genevieve magazine. In my blogs I will tell you all about the ins and outs of the fashion world. Off course I will also tell you about my fabulous life.





Now the spring and summer collections are in stores. We fashion stylists are already bored with these collections. We´ve seen them more than enough. We´re ready for the new autumn/winter collections! Lucky for us, the fashion pr offices understand this. They already have the new clothes in stock. Every year in April the pr offices organize press days for stylists and colomnists. Those days are little parties for us. We get to see and touch the new clothes, shoes and accessories. We meet interesting people while we drink lovely cocktails and eat fingerfood. And last but not least, when the party is over there`s a goodiebag. And I can tell you these bags are great!! I always wait with unpacking until I get home. I feel like a spoilt little princess when I look in the bags.

This time I visited Mooi PR, Unlimited PR and Blosh PR. The pr office Mooi PR is famous for their beautiful shoe collections (Uggs, Steve Madden). Blosh PR does the pr for different brands like American Vintage and Dutch brand Aaiko, Unlimited PR has many fashion brands like Lipsy London, Calvin Klein, Levi´s and Pucci (sunglasses). A big trend this winter will be glam and glitter. I saw a lot of glitter shoes and boots. Even Uggs comes with silver and golden boots. Totally Studio 54 style, which I love. The fashion colours will be different shades of brown, army green, grey and warm red. The fabrics are very rich; suede, silk and leather. I´m a fan of the suede trousers of Aaiko. I can´t wait to get one in my hands. Unfortunately it will take forever till it is September. Then the new collections will be in store. Oh well, first a long hot steamy summer. I can live with that.

Colonel Gaddafi has been in power for 40 something years, during this time he has become the dictator we all know, one whom up until now was only the target of jokes or silly comments about his female personal guard or his ridiculous decisions involving national matters.

No comments from the UN or the Security Council, or the "WORLD POLICE"


a.k.a. The United States of America during all these long and hard 40 years. No comments until a few we eks ago when the strong and deadly protest of a student in Tunisia sparked all sort of protests in several countries in North Africa against their leaders of which, of course, Kaddafi has been the most resilient to abandon power.

At that moment, suddenly, the International Community and the UN open their conveniently closed eyes and realized that "oh my God, Libya has a ruthless and cruel dictator, we as one of the enforcers of international rules have to stop him".

As a concern citizen, at that exact moment, I asked myself: how is it possible nobody did anything in the past 40 years? was there an issue of lack of jurisdiction? was the UN incapacitated or forced not to intervene? and after these questions, many scary, inconceivable and painful answers come to mind: "perhaps Libya was of no interest to the USA until now; the UN is simply a puppet of the rulers of the world and they will simply do as they are told. Memories of countries such as Argentina, Chile, Dominican Republic, Panama, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, where the bringers of terror and control were agents/puppets/Allies of the United States placed in that country to protect/destroy/control a target of interest to them but once the agent/puppet/ally rebelled or got out of control, the USA created an "excuse" to take down the problem.

Excuses such as: Communism, Terrorism, Human rights violation; all of them real and valid points but used by the USA to control their interests!!

I agree that Kaddafi must be stopped, I agree that his methods have been horrible but we must go behind the attack and find the reasons why because in these situations, questioning the reasons will lead us to the truth.]]> Balmain S/S 2011 http://www.elitairmagazine.com/index.php?entry=1
